CONRAD in NOIR - Last Frontier collectible sunglasses
CONRAD in NOIR is one of the most sculptural and decisive forms in the collection Last Frontier by Jacques Marie Mage. The square silhouette with clearly chamfered edges has been designed with a precision that is more reminiscent of chisel work than the manufacturing process.
It's a model that doesn't follow the line -
he determines it.
Massive frame made of 10 mm cellulose acetate, deep black in colour builds a strong, almost architectural presence. The double-laminated temples - with transparent outer layers and a black interior - subtly reveal the design and emphasise the collectible nature of the model.
The front is decorated with signature sterling silver spearhead pins, and earwigs develop this narrative through distinctive metal spearhead decoration, finished in silver palladium with dark gold accents. The whole thing is complemented by medallions on earpiece tips, also in the form of an arrowhead - a detail that reaches its most prominent form in this instalment of the collection.
Inside the structure are exposed „Braided” (lariat) wirecore in a dark gold finish - a subtle but highly distinctive element of the line. The luminaire also features monobloc hinge with hairline engraving, ensuring the durability and precision of the mechanics.
Applied mineral crown glass base 4 lenses in neutral gray, with anti-reflective coating on the inside, offer the highest image clarity and natural light reproduction.
CONRAD in NOIR was established in a limited edition of 200 copies.
This is a model for those who choose a resolute form - and the craftsmanship to justify it.
