WALKER at ETNA This is a striking interpretation of a slender, rectangular form, inspired by the aesthetics of the 1990s. Whilst retaining the characteristic, softly rounded lines of the WALKER model, the ETNA variant introduces bolder colours and a more dynamic character.
It is a model that combines the precision of form with the energy of colour.
Subtle in design - resolute in expression.
The frame was made of 10-millimetre, hardened cellulose acetate in tortoiseshell colour, with distinctive double-laminated temples. It's a design that provides durability while giving the frame an architectural presence.
The front is decorated with signature sterling silver spearhead pins, and the inside of the earcups reveals the finely engraved silver wirecore with hairline detail. The design is complemented by proprietary nine-barrelled tension hinge, ensuring stability and smooth operation.
Applied green CR-39 lenses with a base curve of 4, with anti-reflective coating on the inner side, offer high contrast, glare reduction and warm, dynamic light reproduction. A solution that adds character to the model and sets it apart from the classic colour variants.
WALKER at ETNA was established in a limited edition of 450 copies.
This is a model for those looking for a tried-and-tested form - but in a bolder, more expressive way.
