Model Zéphirin 47 in Bourbon colour is a subtly enlarged reinterpretation of one of Jacques Marie Mage's most iconic forms — a frame that combines the intellectual charm of a professor with the nonchalance of an artist. The model's name comes from Pope Zeferino, and its design draws inspiration from pre-World War II aesthetics — classic, austere and full of character. Handmade in Japan from 10 mm hardened acetate in Bourbon tortoiseshell shade, the binding has been finished silver details: arrow-shaped rivets, exposed wire wire core and precise 5-barrel hinge with studs in the shape of spurs. The whole is complemented by brown CR39 lenses, which give the whole thing depth and warmth, while providing 100% UV protection.
