MILES-CITY in SILVER - Last Frontier's collectible titanium sunglasses
MILES-CITY in SILVER is a brighter, more luminous interpretation of one of the most disciplined models in the collection Last Frontier by Jacques Marie Mage. The square form inspired by the 1950s remains the same - what changes is the way the light works on the surface of the luminaire.
It is a model that does not operate by shadow, but by reflection.
Precision. The air between the details.
Luminaire made in 100% with beta titanium in silver palladium finish emphasises the architectural purity of the form. Transparent epoxy fillings and clear, acetate ear tips in crystal gray lend lightness and visual depth to the structure.
The rims of the lenses are decorated with subtle engraving Chimayó in gunmetal - a subtle but deliberate contrast. The front of the frame and the temples are finished in signature sterling silver elements, inlaid turquoise, which becomes the main colour accent in this instalment of the collection.
It is turquoise - a stone with strong cultural significance - that gives the model a more open, expressive identity, while remaining fully rooted in the Last Frontier aesthetic.
The structure is complemented by:
- monobloc hinge with hairline engraving,
- titanium nose pads with logo,
- and Armorlite base 4 lenses in serene blue, with anti-reflective coating, providing clarity and calm light reproduction.
MILES-CITY in SILVER was established in limited edition of only 100 copies.
This is a model for collectors who are looking for the same form - but in a completely different light.
