TORRANCE in VIPER is the most sophisticated and rarest model in the collection Stanley Kubrick by Jacques Marie Mage. This version retains the sculptural, rectangular form with its characteristically chamfered eyebrow line, but interprets it in more sensual, deep colours. These are glasses that combine intellectual coolness with a subtle expression of colour.
Variant VIPER made of solid 10-millimetre hardened cellulose acetate in a polished, deep green shade. The double-laminated temples - with light beige transparent outer layers and a green interior - delicately reveal the frame's design, highlighting its collectible nature and craftsmanship.
The front of the luminaire is decorated with signature sterling silver spearhead pins, designed specifically for a line inspired by Kubrick's work. The design is complemented by exposed „Classic” wirecore with a palladium finish, proprietary nine-barrel hinge with precise hairline details and riveted spur-type elements, also in palladium finish. The inner earflap markings have been embossed with silver foil - subtle but unmistakably collectible.
Applied Armorlite base 6 lenses in Midnight gradient, equipped with an anti-reflective coating on the inside, offer high visual comfort, glare reduction and a deep, cinematic image that blends perfectly with the saturated green of the frame.
TORRANCE in VIPER was established in limited edition of only 100 copies, handmade in Japan. This is a model for collectors and those looking for not only perfect craftsmanship, but also colour used with full awareness and discipline of form.
