Inspired by the glasses worn by the legendary Japanese director Kon Ichikawa (市川 崑), whose cinematic vision combined the influences of Disney, Renoir and Eastern sensibilities – Ichikawa This model celebrates the art of seeing as a creative act. These modern, trapezoidal frames with an energetic, modernist character of the 1950s are a tribute to artistic independence, intellect and style with a cinematic pedigree.

Handcrafted in Japan from 10 mm black hardened acetate, glasses Ichikawa Bloodstone stand out sculptural form and precise finish. Silver details – from distinctive arrowhead front pins, after engraved wire wire core – emphasise master craftsmanship. The seven-hinge mechanism ensures stability and smooth movement, while the classic double-laminated temples give the whole a balanced visual weight.

Lenses Superlight Grey CR39 guarantee 100% UV protection and optical clarity, with an anti-reflective coating on the inside. The subtle shade of grey gives the gaze depth and elegance – like a well-composed frame from a film noir.
