ELMYR in NOIR X is the more striking, graphic face of a model inspired by the aesthetics of the 1970s. While retaining the characteristic chamfered form and medium fit, this variant relies on contrast, depth of colour and a strong presence. Version NOIR X was made of solid of 10 mm deep black cured cellulose acetate, with distinctive double-laminated temples. The black of the frame has been broken up with details in a shade of dark gold, creating a distinctive but still elegant composition with a collector's touch.
The frame is decorated with signature front pins in the shape of arrowheads, finished in dark gold, and hidden „Classic” wirecore in the same shade, visible subtly beneath the acetate surface. The whole is complemented by proprietary seven-barrel stainless steel hinges, decorated with Art Deco-inspired engraved details, ensuring the durability and smooth running of the mechanics.
Applied orange Armorlite base 4 lenses, equipped with anti-reflective coating on the inside, offer high visual comfort, glare reduction and a contrasting, warm image in intense light. It is a solution that combines the functionality of premium sunglasses with a distinctive aesthetic.
